Chef Chris

Chef Chris Lee was raised in a popular resort town in Northwest Iowa where he began his culinary career at a very young age working in the kitchens of many of the busy resorts and restaurants. By the time he graduated high school he was second in command at the premier destination restaurant. It was there that he met his mentor who encouraged Chris to pursue a career as a professional Chef.

Chris spent the next 25 years working in upscale restaurants, high volume resorts, and luxury catering and Private Chef events. His travels have taken him all over the country from California, Florida, New York and Philadelphia.

Due to his love of the outdoors, Chris would eventually turn his attention to high-end hunting and fishing lodges. First as the Chef at the historic and legendary Burntside Lodge in Northern Minnesota during the summer months and also as the Chef/Manager at an upscale Pheasant hunting lodge during the fall/winter.

In pursuit of a bigger challenge, Chris set his sites on remote Alaska. In 2017, Chris was the Chef at the eponymous Bear Trail Lodge in King Salmon. However, since 2018, Chef Chris partnered with owner Pete, to build a fabulous new kitchen and serve incredible meals for our clients.

Chris currently resides in Minnesota with his wife and daughter and spends much of the off-season Ice Fishing, traveling and working his private Chef business in Minneapolis.
