  • We pride ourselves on our reputation and repeat customer base! Check out our trip advisor! We provide a variety of day trips and multi-day long-range trips. Homer's nickname is "The Halibut Capital of the World." Kachemak Bay is teeming with wildlife. The fishing is great, and the snow-capped mountains are beautiful. Whatever your interest, we can meet your needs. Give us a call so we can help you plan the vacation of your dreams!

We offer 3/4 day, full-day, and multi-day adventures. These trips can target single species, or branch out to get a more diversified experience! The waters of Kachemak Bay and the surrounding area are home to unique species such as halibut, salmon, rockfish, lingcod, and more. Our season for halibut begins as early as May and concludes mid-September. The limit on Halibut in this area is two per day. One of these fish can be any size, the other must be smaller than 28 inches.

  • This will be our 32nd season hosting deer hunts on Kodiak! These hunts are 8 days and 7 nights long. Hunts begin on Saturday mornings with chartered flights directly to the boat. The boat is usually located at the south end of Kodiak Island in the Olga Bay area. Through our years of experience, we have found that leaving the boat on-site and flying in is the best method to maximize your hunting opportunity. From there the adventure begins!

The M/V Valiant Maid, our 85 foot steel hull vessel, is as rugged as the state she works in. Its equipped with 4 private cabins, individual bathrooms, relax/entertainment room, showers, 110v power, TV/DVD, stereo, state of the art electronics, freezer, and many other features (sorry helicopter not included). After a long day of hunting, there is nothing nicer than coming back to a warm boat and a hot meal!

There are many seasonal activities available in Alaska. June, July, and August offer a wide variety of salmon fishing. Duck hunting begins in October (Kodiak island is known for its populations of Old Squaws, Harlequin, and more!). Several color phases of fox are abundant on the island during deer season. Also, Crabbing opens toward the beginning of the fall. Whatever your bucket list is, we are dedicated to providing you with an adventure tailored to accomplishing it. Our staff's combined expertise and years of experience help to ensure you have an Alaskan experience not to be forgotten!
