Pete von Jess

Pete von Jess acquired Nushagak River Adventures Lodge in January 2017. He fished at this outfitter for the three years prior and fell in love with the fishery. When asked by the guides and staff to acquire it, well, he did. But in doing so, he understood it required a complete renovation. During the summers of 2017-2020, Pete led a team to destruct and construct what is now known as a “Five Star in the Bush” lodge, aka FISH THE NUSH LLC. When Pete is not on the river, he owns and operates a aerospace space company.
